About
Together with Inanc Birol, PhD at the BC Cancer Research Institute in Vancouver Canada, we conduct antimicrobial, bioinformatics and genomics research. We also develop novel algorithms, data structures and genome analysis software and offer solutions for (1) antimicrobial peptide (AMP) predictions, (2) de novo whole-genome (DNA) sequence assembly, (3) genetic ancestry analysis and (4) comparative genomics analysis. Our bioinformatics technologies, available on GitHub, find applications in life sciences and are integral to our research program.
